Egretta caerulea
The " Great Blue Heron " is the largets heron on the Island.
Height from Ground to head measure 1.50 meters and
a wing-span of 1.90 meters.
However the " Little Blue Heron " has a wing-span of 1 meter.
The " Little Blue Heron " has slate blue colour while the " Great Blue Heron "
has grayish colour that can glow somewhat blue in the sun.
Immature " Little Blue Heron " is completely white gray bill and
greenish feet. ( see picture )
E " Bubi Blou " ta e Bubi di mas grandi ku tin. E ta midi un altura di
1.50 m. Di punta di hala pa punta di hala 1.90m.
Sinembargo e " Bubi Blou chiki " ta midi solamente 1 meter di
punta di hala pa punta di hala.
E " Bubi Blou chiki " di otro banda si tin kolor blou-skur.
E " Bubi Blou chiki " na jong ( mira foto ) ta kompletamente blanku,
punta di pik shinishi, pia poko berde.
" Bubi di Baka " ta poko mas chiki kompara ku e " Bubi Blou chiki " .
