In English: Silver Spot Butterfly.
On the Island this Butterfly behave and live in the same habitat as the
"Common Patch Longwing" and the "Flambeau" ( Dryas iulia ).
The Silver Spot shivers to keep the flying motion, same as the "Common Patch Longwing".
The Silver Spot Butterfly is more closely related to the Flambeau Butterfly.

She lives primarily underneath scrubs and trees.
It's colour is orange with bold black markings on the edge of wings.
This Butterfly got it's name for the silver spots it has on the underneath.
This is not the same Butterfly as the Oregon Silverspot, which has lots of
black spots on the wing. The Silver Spot Butterfly has patches and stripes.
The Caterpillars has a brown/red colour with spines on the body.
They feed on the plant " Passiflora family " Korona La-Birgen.
Recently ( mar 2006 ) we spotted one flying in " Klein Hoffi " that
was trying to land on our head.
