DESCRIPTION:

Translation word for word: " Mitar insecto " means : " Half insect ".
The local name for this insect is obvious. The rear of the insect is
like been cut off. And the four largest legs are like connected at the
extreme edge. It's colour is black, small anetena, two small legs in front.
She's a sprinter. She run very fast on the surface of the water.
" Mitar insekto " can also stand still on the water surface and once in a
while make a dive.

CHARACTERISTICS:

This little insect is less that 2mm in size ( approx 1,5mm )
Legs extremities measure about 6 mm. ( one leg to the other )
They live on water surface, natural rain water.
" Mitar insekto " lives in large groups, and when they feel someting unusual
is aproaching, they all run. And you can see a black wave moving on the
water as they run all together.
One cannot imagine, this little insect run so fas that it give the idea
that she's flying on the water. We ( the world ) had learned many things
by observing nature, and from these observations make designs for mankind.
Somethimes we may laugh at some nature "freaks", but at the end we will
be copying these marvellous designs.
