Kayuda

" Kayuda " is a herb found in the wild.
Actually it's a tree, growing 5 to 8 meters high.
This tree is rare and doesn't grow on Bonaire and Aruba.
Leaves are shinny, oval 7x3 cm.
Flowers are small ( 2 cm ) and yellow/green colour with
a dark-red center.
The fruit is egg-shape, shinny and 8 cm big.
Seeds are toxic, but the fruit is edible when ripe.

USE:
For stomach ache, boil a few leaves in water and drink as tea.
Can be used to wash burn-wounds.
